Playing with my  new camera...

That sounds so strange for me to say, since I am not a materialistic person by any means. However, Jeremy gave me this amazing sculpture for Christmas...and it just evokes such feeling in me that I can't quite describe. I seriously love this thing =)

I took these pictures with my point and shoot in what is apparently really poor lighting for photography, lol. It sure does look cool in person though, for what its worth, with the shadows on the wall.

So this sculpture...he purchased it at Ten Thousand Villages - if you've never heard of this store, you must check it out! www.TenThousandVillagse.com This particular sculpture was made in Kenya of kisii stone. It's beautiful. Here are two of the pictures I snapped of it.

Took this picture this past fall at Hanging Rock State Park. It was a complete afterthought picture, but the gnarled tree trunk was too much to pass up. 

Well, my first entry isn't really an entry, lol. I don't have my new camera yet...and I feel like I'd be cheating by using my point and shoot instead for some reason.
